Banish the Hosel Rocket

We've all been there. You stand over a shot, envision the perfect flight onto the green and then BAM, the dreaded hosel rocket that flies way right.

There are various flaws in a swing that can push the club head out away from from body too far causing the hosel of the club to hit the ball. But did you know that a really common cause is the early flexion of the right wrist through impact? It probably wasn't that you stood too close to the ball, it probably wasn't that your grip was wrong. A lot of times flexing the right wrist through impact is the culprit.

Watch Rob Stanger demonstrate how this happens. If you wrist action isn't good though impact, you as asking for the hosel rocket to show up when you can least afford it!
