Rob has been in golf his entire life growing up in Provo on Riverside CC. He competed around the country in junior, amateur and professional golf tournaments.
Rob evolved in the direction of golf instruction as the teaching professional at Mission Hills CC in Rancho Mirage, California for 12 years. He then taught at the Golf Academy at PGA WEST for 5 years. Rob is currently the Director of Instruction at Alpine CC where he has been teaching since 2008. Rob has appeared on the Golf Channel Academy Live instruction program. He has written numerous golf instruction articles for golf publications.
Many of Rob's students in Utah have received college scholarships. Rob has worked with a number of youth that have been on state championship teams for both boys and girls at Lone Peak High School.
