Congrats to Alta View Member Shawn Chipman for winning the recent Tropical Travel tournament on Trackman. As is the case with all of the tournaments sponsored by Alta View Shawn picked up a prize, in this case a certificate for a free round of golf at Cedar Hills.
While chatting with Shawn about his experience at Alta View we spoke about driver speed.
He is hitting the ball better than he has before - the driver is going faster and the ball is traveling 40 yards longer after a couple of months. The feedback of the videos of the swing mechanics combined with the Trackman numbers has been really helpful.
